In the Khojbal Village of Gujarat’s Bharuch district, our education initiatives are anchored through Project Tarang, a holistic, school-centred programme implemented in close collaboration with local stakeholders. The village government school serves as the nucleus of this intervention, enabling learning outcomes to improve alongside health, nutrition, and infrastructure.
Key education initiatives include:
Structured FLN and remedial learning sessions for students from Balvatika to Class 8, aligned with grade-wise competencies. Baseline and periodic assessments guide learner grouping and differentiated instruction.
Regular sessions in Gujarati, English, and Mathematics, using activity-based and learner-centric approaches such as storytelling, guided reading, and hands-on materials to strengthen comprehension and confidence.
Continuous mentoring and training for teachers, focused on child-friendly pedagogy, classroom management, and alignment with NEP 2020 and the NIPUN Bharat Mission, supported by classroom observation and academic hand-holding.
Integrated academic and infrastructure support has contributed to improved learning environments and full student attendance during intervention periods.
Through Project Tarang, the school is strengthened as a centre for learning continuity, community engagement, and holistic child development.
